Battery Error

#1 Post by Mugrunty » Thu Sep 06, 2007 8:28 am

To make a long story short, my battery has always been losing capacity a lot faster than i would consider normal. Ive only had this laptop for a year, and it already says "condition poor" in the battery status window. Power manager also kept telling me that i should consider buying a new battery. Just last night, the battery was near fully charged and i shutdown the computer. I woke up today with a flashing orange battery symbol. Weird... When i got to windows, the power manager says "A battery error has occured. The battery cannot be charged. Replace the battery". This is weird. Im guessing the internal circuitry has deemed the battery unusable? Its at 99%. Any ideas?
