Thinkpad 380ED

I have a relatively nice working example of this laptop. I would like to access the BIOS setup, but all I get when I hold F1 while turning on the machine is a quick setup series of screens. Is there another way to access the BIOS?

Thanks

What you are describing sounds like the BIOS screens. On a 380ED BIOS setup screens were very basic. With the unit powered off, hold the F1 key down and power the unit on. Keep F1 held down until the bios setup appears. That's it, what you see is what you get :)

Thanks for the info. I get some screens, but practically no adjustments of any kind.

Thanks for the info.
