For the edumacated toddler -- RAID on your ThinkPad?

If you put in twin hard drives in your drive caddy and your UltraBay, would there be anyway to stripe or mirror them with RAID? Do you think it's possible? Has anyone actually set it up??

But please notice that software mirroring is only available with Windows 2000/2003 Server.

I wouldn't recommend it, though. Remember that if you stripe or span a volume, you can no longer simply remove the second hard disk just to put an optical drive into the ultrabay.

Yeah it's deffinetely not something I'd want to run full time, but it would be fun to set up and benchmark
