Wow - very sorry to see this FS, buddy. :( I'm sure that whoever does buy this will inherit one very cared for machine. Good luck with this and your endeavours to get things back where they should be.

Is this really the Retail version or just OEM? The Retail version is $345 shipped on Newegg.com. Also, has it been activated already?

I wish you the best of luck dealing with this crisis.

You may want to consider getting a personal PayPal account, which doesn't charge any fee.

Are the western digital HDDs for laptops or desktops? If they are for laptops, let me know I am interested.

Hello everyone.

If you check the the first post in this thread you will note a few things:

1. Listed which items are sold
2. Listed what items are still available
3. Added info for SCSI drives and DDR SODIMMS
4. Noted that I am now taking offers
5. In general cleaned the thread as much as I could

I would like to thank you for your support so far.

Now I know someone out there needs a pair of 1GB SODIMMS. Don't let these babies pass you up.

I also know Vista SP1 is due soon. This is a great opportunity to upgrade to Vista Ultimate and still retain full connectivity with corporate domains, active directory, etc. Upgrade to the 'best' version of Vista currently available for far cheaper than what it would cost in a store.

Peace.

I hope now things are getting better than before.

I have been looking for a desktop machine for a cash strapped local college student his budget is only $250. Since you asked for offers, would you accept $250 for this machine? I will pay the actual shipping so you get the whole $250 and he gets the desktop within his budget.

Please let me know what you think.

I need a couple of 15k's for my boxen.
(ok, I don't "need" them, it's got 10k's now, but I feel the lust!)

If still available, the system is all yours ckaufman. I was feeling bad enough lowballing the computer as it is so thank you for coming to my rescue.

I second that. I am sure some people (including me) would be interested in non-computer related stuff as well; e.g. photography equipment, audio/video equipment or similar stuff comes to mind.

Thanks for seconding that.

Temetka, if you don't want to post these items here because they would be off topic, perhaps you can give us a link to the Craigslist or eBay ads for those items.

I might be interested in some books and classical CDs if you have any. I love to collect both - I own around a thousand books and close to 6,000 CDs (all originals, none of them CD-Rs). My Thinkpad collection pales in comparison.

I'm interested in the Desktop RAM, specifically, the:
1 x 256MB DDR400 Infineon
1 x 512MB PC2700 Elixir
1 x 512MB PC2700 Infineon
1 x 512MB PC2700 Unknown
Are those 4 sticks the $30 bundle of DDR? If so, consider them sold. Please contact me via PM or post in this thread to arrange payment.

Thanks.

I have some computer books.

I am finishing my Bachelors degree in June and thus 90% of my books are computer related. Due to 2 children I really don't spend much on books anymore. I donated about 700 to the local library about a year ago.

I have 1992 Toyota 4-Runner 4 sale. Local pickup only.

You can look up the info on either e-bay, Amazon, newegg or others.

Just google the model #'s. I'll make you the same offer I made another forum member (who was looking for SATA not SCSI). These are SCSI drives.

Here:

6 15,000RPM Drives ranging from 32GB to 76GB

Model: ST373453LW
Drive Capacity: 73.4 GB
Rotational Speed: 15,000 RPM
Seek Time: 3.6 ms (Average)
Buffer: 8 MB
Connectivity: Ultra320 SCSI

QTY: 4

Model: ST336752LW
Capacity: 36.7 GB
Speed: 15K rpm
Seek time: 3.6 ms avg
Buffer: 8 MB
Interface: Ultra160 SCSI

QTY: 2

have a couple of Ultra320 and Ultra160 controller cards. These are for the Macintosh. If you have a PC I do not have a controller card.

Or you can buy all 6 drives for $300 shipped. (Which is a $30 savings over buying them separate and I throw in free shipping plus some internal cables).

I also have all the cables necessary to stick them in a case and turn it into an an external RAID array. These drives are pulled from my old SCSI array when I went to e-sata. I also have a set of 4 Ultimate Hard Drive Coolers. They work great. Check below for more info:

http://www.casecooler.com/ulhardrivcoo.html

NOTE: It's just the blue cooler, 2 fans and mounting brackets + power cable. The pics on the website show the cooler with an attached face plate. Those are NOT included. These cooler were purchased 'bare' without the faceplates.

The coolers are $15 from the website but I will sell them for $8 each if you buy the drives.

Heck you know what?

Take the whole shebang for $325 shipped via USPS Priority Mail with tracking and insurance. I'll throw in the drives, the internal AND external cabling and the hard drive coolers. All you need is an external case to stick the drives in, a controller card and hello external RAID array. I can tell when configured as RAID 5 these things are WICKED fast. I mean like scary fast. If I didn't need the cash so desperately I would never in my right mind sell them. I paid a TON more money for the setup than what you would be paying.

Think it over and let me know.

Received my stuff yesterday in excellent shape, packed extremely well. Bump for a great seller.

Too bad you're not closer, I could use an old 4Runner...

I need a couple of 15k's for my boxen.
(ok, I don't "need" them, it's got 10k's now, but I feel the lust!)

You can look up the info on either e-bay, Amazon, newegg or others.

Or you can buy all 6 drives for $300 shipped. (Which is a $30 savings over buying them separate and I throw in free shipping plus some internal cables).

Yeah, that would be one FAST array,,,

but I'm not able to afford the whole thing, I was just looking to buy the smaller drives to boot and run my server boxen.

So I'm trying to find your price on the drives, sold individualy or all four of the 36gb ones. And I don't see this price, or am I really blind :)

I have 4 Ultra320 Seagate Drives
Model: ST373453LW
Drive Capacity: 73.4 GB
Rotational Speed: 15,000 RPM
Seek Time: 3.6 ms (Average)
Buffer: 8 MB
Connectivity: Ultra320 SCS

These seem to be averaging about $70 a pop on e-bay and around $120 a pop from places like NexxTag.

Hows about $65 each for all 4 including shipping. Or $60 each + shipping.

I also have 2 Ultra160 Seagate Drives
Model: ST336752LW
Capacity: 36.7 GB
Speed: 15K rpm
Seek time: 3.6 ms avg
Buffer: 8 MB
Interface: Ultra160 SCSI

These are $35 each + shipping costs.

I have a couple of Ultra320 and Ultra160 controller cards. These are for the Macintosh. If you have a PC I do not have a controller card.

Or you can buy all 6 drives for $300 shipped.

Let me know.
