Can't save new power profiles any more

My R40 has suddenly lost the ability to create new power profiles and every time it starts up, it always defaults to "Disable Shut-Off Timers". This is highly annoying, especially on battery.

I've tried searching through the forums and Google for a solution but have not turned up anything so far. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it a lot.
