Refurbished R32 and recovery options?

#1 Post by kensplace » Thu Sep 13, 2007 12:15 am

If you get a refurbished IBM (from a IBM refurbisher company) should you get either the recovery partition, or the recover disks?

I dont seem to have either, I would have thought that if its meant to be refurbished back to 'original' state, then you should get at least one of those options?

Or does the R32 not come with either as stanadard when new?

If you buy directly from ibm.com then IBM Rescue and recovery with Rapid restore/Thinkvantage Rescue and Recovery/Lenovo Care tools will be included. If you buy from someone claiming to be IBM business partner online on a website like ebay etc. then I can't guarantee anything.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
