T40 wired lan showing as 10Mb?

in access connections 3.3, the wired link is only showing to be running at 10mb/sec which is weird because im sure its 100mb/sec.

im running the latest network drivers from using the update connector, also checked "the ibm matrix" of downloads and im sure i have the latest version.

what gives?

The gigabit NIC in my T40 shows up as only 100 in Access Connections 3.30 unless I have a cable connected to it when doing the Create Profile ... once it knows that a faster NIC is actually there, Access Connections uses the corrrect description for that adapter.
