quick question

#1 Post by paOol » Thu Sep 13, 2007 7:13 pm

I did a clean install, and i installed all the drivers i needed.
however, when i do Fn+home, or Fn+End , to adjust the display brightness, i can see the on-screen icon, but nothing happens.
what driver/software am i missing?

my thinklight works, and battery and stuff.
ordered (8/12), estimated ship date (8/30). cant wait!!!

For XP you need the ACPI Power Management driver, the Hotkey Utility driver, and I believe the Lenovo supplied video driver. Vista also requires the Lenovo System Interface Driver.

hmmm, that might be it. im using the laptopvideo2go 163.44 drivers.
is there a workaround?
even if i take out the a/c cord, my brightness is still at 100%.
