FS Seagate 7200.1 100GB

#1 Post by ZaZ » Fri Sep 14, 2007 4:18 am

For sale one Seagate 7200.1 7200RPM drive. I bought the new shortly after I got my R60. It is a SATA drive. I upgraded to the 160GB so I could dual boot with Linux and not be too cramped. I bought the drive new at NewEgg. It was a new retail drive when I got it so it will have the remaining balance of the five year warranty for about four years. I am asking $70 for the drive and $5 for shipping. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thanks for looking.

No the T4X series take PATA (not SATA) drives.

No, it can't be used as the primary drive in anything below a T6x, BUT it can be used in the optical bay with a SATA hard drive adapter as additional storage, for those that might be interested.

Wow, $75 shipped for this excellent drive! Too bad I don't have a laptop that takes SATA drives.

From what've I've gathered the 7k200 is the performance champ, but mine costs less.

mgo, I'd advise you send a PM with those private details, just to be on the safe side (unless you meant to send a PM but accidentally quoted the post). Not to be a dramatist, but anybody could be browsing the forum as an unregistered member and they could misuse your address. :)
