Hi,
I recently bought a used A30, which worked fine for a couple of weeks.
But out of the blue, the lcd screen is now so dark, that you can hardly see anything. However, on a monitor everything shows up normal.
I have tried to reinstall the ATI display driver and control panel, but nothing helps. Is this a video problem or something else ?
lcd screen very dark, video problem ???

to test a back ligth = get hight vconverter from old scanner
first get manual maintenance, just open lcd part : open tp at 180degre (two hiden screws at bottom lft n rght) then get hight voltage adapter from screen, put hight converter from scanner, use 9v batterie, if neon from scanner works, backligth from tp should be white or grey, you could boot tp, and see. may be tp convert is dead, maybe lcd cable has wrong...Asad wrote:Thanks, yes I can see the images like you said.
How do I test if it really is the inverter or the backlight ?
Mad converter thinkpad to tablet = Mc 3T
