WTB: T30 keyboard in excellent shape

#1 Post by ajkula66 » Fri Sep 14, 2007 8:55 pm

The "enter" key on my daughter's T30 has given out and I'm looking to replace the keyboard. As close to new as possible, please. Brand new for a reasonable amount is the best option, if available.

PM with offers.

Not much there either, on eBay...

If this doesn't get resolved within the next 48 hours, I'm calling Lenovo and putting my head on the chopping block...

George:

According to Keyboard FRU parts list - ThinkPad T30 the FRU PN # 08K4670 is NMB US English while FRU 08K4699 is APLS (also UK English). Since I know that you want quality, I searched for the NMB :-) and found one at I.T.Xchange for $ 35,- ("Refurbished, Grade A"). I don't know what the postage may add...

Maybe worth to consider if everything else fails... otherwise check these two units for spares - maybe some clever repair is possible?

Best regards,

Johan
