Yes, I am again looking for some more PC2700 ram. I have another R51 coming with only 512 mg ram. I have plenty of 256mg of PC2700 to go around.....................
Anyway thanks for looking,
Ron

Is two 1GB too many? A matched pair of 2GB PC2700 for $140 seems pretty good.

Check Newegg.com for cheap 1 GB Crucial PC-2700 RAM !
... you may perhaps alternatively (to this Marketplace) want to check the prices for 1 GB PC-2700 high-quality brand-new RAM (from Crucial) sold at Newegg.com - the price is only $ 57 after mail-in rebate... and free shipment! I wish Newegg would also ship international!
NB: I believe that the above RAM (Crucial CT12864X335, being DDR 333, PC 2700, CL2.5, non-ECC, unbuffered) will also work in R51's - that's what I see when checking the ThinkPad Personal Systems Reference Version 311 - August 2006.
Best regards,
Johan
