LCD Problem

#1 Post by Harryc » Sun Sep 16, 2007 7:11 am

I need some expert opinion on what would cause the dark blotches on the LCD in the pic below ...
(It's a UXGA LCD in a T42P if that matters. The background is set to white).

seems to be uneven backlighting. I'm not sure of the way to fix that tho other than LCD replacement but you might be able to replace the backlight or something to fix that. I'm not sure tho.

Thanks SHoTTa35, that was my first reaction to it as well, 'uneven backlighting'. Can anyone else think of any other part beside the LCD/backlight that might cause this?
