Fn keys not working on R50P

#1 Post by wearetheborg » Mon Sep 17, 2007 5:27 pm

The Fn key is not working on my R50P, I cannot change brightness, or turn on keyboard light or hibernate or anything. Is this a hardware problem ?

I checked using PC doctor - the Fn key seems to be dead.
Do I need to replace the keyboard ?

Peel off this key and see if there's any junk underneath. It's easy to put the key back.

If that doesn't solve the problem, then you need to replace the whole keyboard.
