I have problems with recover to factory contents on T41.

When I start recover to factory - process goes, but then there is a next error:

Code: Select all

SGE401: Invalid Kernel
System halted
In what problem and as can it be corrected? Unfortunately I do not have a Product Recovery CD or DVD.

I don't know why you got that error or how to solve it. You should be able to buy the Product Recovery Disc set from Lenovo. Another option would be to install an OEM version of Windows (same version as what the COA sticker is for). Install from that CD using the Product Key from the COA sticker on the bottom of the ThinkPad.

A problem is decided as follows:
- I deleted partition for OS (not hidden);
- started once again recover to factory.
All began to work.
