Removing Access IBM Shortcut from Start Menu?
Anybody know how to remove the access ibm shortcut from the regular start menu? Been searching for a while & can't seem to find out how to do it. Thanks!

Txiasaeia,
What or where exactly is the regular start menu that you are referring to?
Strange, nothing but native windows OS items appear in my start menu options. As far as I know no vendor stuff ever installs itself into the lower portion of the right pane of XP's start menu, you have to go out of way with tweaking to get it to show like below the Run... Is that where you are talking about?

And yet, there it is in the lower right hand portion of the start menu. Tried the customize trick, but it's not listed. Arrgh! Thanks for the help, but does anybody else have anything?selvan777 wrote:Txiasaeia,

Heh... for the past three years I have been using the classic menu, but I've found an incredible winxp theme (Nano w/dark taskbar) that makes good use of the normal menu. Anyway, it doesn't matter on my desktop (not an IBM), but I'd really like to get rid of that icon. I mean hey, come on, if I want to get to access IBM I'll use the big blue button on the keyboard, rightjdhurst wrote:Consider using the Classic menu, and then (a) you should be able to customize it (I can) and (b) the IBM stuff will not appear in the Windows-only lower left menu. ... Selvan, I'll see if that post you mentioned does the trick. Thanks!
EDIT: Yep, I deleted the keys that he said to create to make a shortcut, and BOOM, it's gone! THANKS!
