Just so you know, you need a serial number and you must activate, unlike earlier IBM/MS recovery CD's

Come on someone must have a spare set of Lenovo Recovery DVD for Vista. A lot of users are claiming not to be running Vista. I may have found an answer for the frequent lock ups. I'd like to test it under a pure Lenovo factory install. I have serial numbers, that's not my problem.

Again, you need an appropriate serial number for the recovery set you are using, and you need to activate, which means that you have now invalidated this set for anyone else. Basically, you would need to puchchase an original set, and assuming you have the proper serial numbers, you would become the only user of this recovery set.
In other words, prepare to pay for it. What is Vista Pro, like $200?
