It seems that some people do a complete XP reinstall, and only add back certain things, but a lot of people actually like the IBM install, and don't do much about it. The general consensus is that it's not that bloated at all. Most of the programs they put on are actually useful.

I'm sure you'll here other opinions though.

For those who frequently use differnet projectors, Presentation Director is a Godsend.

R&R is also particularly useful for those who aren't very comfortable with performing backups as it's interface is very user friendly.

The PD is very good - easy and fast.

I am actually only using: Battery MaxiMiser, Presentation Director and Thinkpad Configuration.

I also have installed Access IBM, but just to use the "Access IBM - Button" to launch my File Manager (with the fine tool from thinkpads.com);
maybe there is another solution without installing Access IBM ?? (21,47MB for one Button!)
I thought I knew once a Registry Key for the Button, but maybe I´m mixing up something.
