Odd Cd-RW/DVD behavior after install Win XP QFE & Common

Hi,

I have a T41 with WinXP Prof. After installing the QFE posted on the Lenovo support site http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-68475
and the WinXP Common update http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-68524
My CD-RW/DVD cannot read Video DVD any more. I ended up removing all of the updates.

However, my CD-RW/DVD still cannot read data DVD. The DVD is good as I have tried on a WInXP box at work. Anyone else have the same issue?
