T61 - Wierd IE Problem

When i open up IE it will take aprox 6-7 seconds before displaying the page. This happens when i am physically connected or wireless. I have checked out the security options in IE, looked at the firewall, and deleted Norton Internew Security Suite, and it will still take 6-7 seconds to display a page. I can live with it, but it bothers me that my T43 displays a page immediately.

Any ideas?

I dont think it has to do with either of the network cards.

Do you have SpySweeper installed? That used to do it for me.

Its not spyware, im sure of that. I just bought this T61 and received it last week. This problem has occured since first connecting to the net. Anyone else have any issue like this with thier T61?

IE opens up, and then its like a 7 second delay untill the page starts to load.

What I meant was that anti-spyware software might be causing the problem, not spyware. Webroot's SpySweeper has browser shields and such that delayed IE opening for me.
