z60m battery gone?

#1 Post by Gabox » Thu Sep 27, 2007 7:54 am

Hi!

There is battery led at the bottom of the display. It started flashing in yellow color yesterday. When i pull out the power cord, the machine turns off immediatelly.

The maschine is 1.5 years old. Thas that mean, i have to buy a new battery? Are there any way to repair this one?

You can check whether your battery wasn't the part of Battery Recall.

It's not.

Is 2 years a normal life for a battery?

Depends on the wear, according to the battery university:
A lithium-ion battery provides 300-500 discharge/charge cycles.
In general, adverse chemical reaction can occur anytime with these lion cells. I suggest it's time for you to buy a new one.
