Keyboard and Mouse Pad locks up

I got new t61. i wiped it clean and installed XP with out volume license key.

I can't seems to figure out why my keyboard and mouse pad keep locking up.

I got received XP image from lenovo that seems to be working fine, but when i install xp and install all the drivers, it locks up the keyboard and mouse pad.

any idea???

be sure to install the Ultranav from lenovos website. Thats how i fixed my problem with the keyboard and mouse.
