R52 CPU into a T23?

#1 Post by LPC » Fri Sep 28, 2007 9:55 am

Hi,

My Dad just bought Kyocera's R52 1858-R11 and it came with an extra Celeron M 370 (1.5GHz) processor.

I am in the market for a T23 and was thinking....would the R52 cpu swap into a T23?

Thanks

No, the R52 uses Pentium M or Celeron M CPUs (400/533mhz FSB), and the T23 uses PIII-M processors (133mhz FSB).

I believe the fastest CPU that can be used in a T23 is a 1.2ghz or 1.3ghz PIII-M.
