SOLD!help me price a timewarp, dead mint 240X (2609-62U)

#1 Post by ajkula66 » Sat Sep 29, 2007 12:05 am

I honestly can't remember when I've last had one of those...brought to me by an old friend a few days ago, I've just opened it and looked at it and OMG it looks newer than any machine in my house apart from the T41 I've listed for sale...true blue timewarp. I'll take pictures if anyone's interested, but no pictures will do this classic ThinkPad justice...in plain English...mint, mint, mint!!!

ThinkPad 240X 2609-62U

Original description: PIII 500MHz (256KB) 64MB RAM, 12.0 GB HDD, 10.4 TFT 800x600, Modem, FDD, Win2000

This one has 128Mb RAM, 15Gb HDD and extended battery that seems to be holding a fine charge.

Ideas, suggestions, anyone?

Thanks in advance.

so, uhmm, does "dead" in the subject line mean it is dead or that it works and is like new..?

I'm glad that Mr. Morrow has not lost his sense of humour during the move...

Dead I'll be if I don't come up with a price for this mint, cute, adorable, flawlessly-working piece of IBM history...

Thanks for the bump, sir! :thumbs-UP:
