Sellers: Am I being unreasonable ?

#1 Post by wearetheborg » Sat Sep 29, 2007 10:58 pm

I bought a HP laptop which said for item condition:
"Great condition overall. Only very minor case scratches. Keyboard looks like new. Well above average for it's age."

I got the laptop and 1)The nub is completely worn out and 2)there is a scratch on the screen.

Am I being unreasonable if I say the item description was not correct ?

A complaint based on the nub probably won't have any merit as it's a cheap part that's easily replaced and most people expect it to wear.

The screen complaint might have some merit. Talk to the seller.
