HDD Activity Light - No one has a clue!

Hey guys,

Long time no post =). Anyways, I have a X41 Tablet...and I have the weirdest problem! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The HDD activity light works 50% of the time. Sometimes when I boot up the machine...the light never blinks...doesn't matter if it's busy, and sometimes it works! It's great. Any ideas?!

Sounds like normal to me. My HDD light blinks very little and at times doesn't blink at all. Might be universal for all X41 tablet

no no, like...ever? As in, when it doesn't blink, it really doesn't blink even for anything? hours on end?

if youre able to work on it and you don't experience any problems most likely one of the connectors that powers up the diode is lose sometimes it kicks in and sometimes it doesn't
