Toshiba hard drive warrenty

I have this Toshiba laptop hard drive.It wont let me install XP or anything.
The BIOS finds it but thats it.Cant format it.
I dont think i ever had a Toshiba laptop hard drive that worked.This is about the 5th one that i had that dont work.And i only had about 5 or 6.
I cant find anything on toshiba's web site to see if there is warrenty left on it.
I was toled it is about 2 years old.
From what i can see it has 3 years.I'm going to call them up tomorow but thought someone may have a site to check the warrenty.

MK6026GAX
S/N:75P06326T 6X2 EC.A

I dont see any date on it.
It's a 60 gig drive.

Toshiba does not offer a hard drive diagnostic for their own hard drives. That in itself should steer you away from their drives. If you had so many problems, why did you continue to use them?

I just picked up a T21 Thinkpad.
The guy dident know what was wrong with the laptop.So he bought a new one.I bought the old T21 for a good price($70.00)
T21 , P-III 800 , 128 ram, dvd-rom, wireless G card, 14.1 , ac adapter,ect.It's in nice shape.The Toshiba drive was in it when i got it.
I'll never buy a new or even a used Toshiba hard drive.But if it comes in a laptop i buy , well i cant say much.
And if this one is under warrenty( i will call them Monday) , i'll get a new one for it.
