I've had a problem that my T61 won't hibernate. It happens a little too often. The screen goes black and it appears to be getting ready to hibernate, but then it doesn't and the screen only stays black.
I have to hold the power button down to turn the computer off and when it reboots I get the shut down error message. Before the latest updates I got the message: "Problem Event Name: BlueScreen BCCode 9f". I still have the hibernate problem, but don't get the error message. For the record - I've never had a blue screen shown (just the message above).
Does anyone have ideas regarding software or hardware/drivers that could cause this? I've updated the BIOS and I'm running Vista 64-bit with all updates. I've disabled some of the Lenovo software, but are using the update-software to keep it up to date.
Thanks in advance!
