Thinkpad LCD + Samsung 940BW LCD

This is cool. I am using simultaneously the thinkpad LCD at a resolution of 1400x1050 and an external LCD (Samsung 940BW) at a resolution of 1440x900 with the Extended desktop option. Before, I thought it is not possible to use two displays at different resolutions simultaneously.

Now, I am curious whether the resolution 1400x1050 and 1680x1050 will work as I am planning to upgrade to a 22" LCD external display. Has anybody tried or used that.

No problem at all, im running a t60p lcd at 1600x1200 together with a dell 24" 1920x1200 lcd.

Actually its pretty sweet, i've set up the dell as primary display, and when i open/close the thinkpad lcd it just extends or removes desktop area on the thinkpad lcd.

to add, am only using the built-in vga out on the T60P.

looking forward to viewing 1400x1050 and 1680x1050 soon.

Ok - i forgot to mention though, im running through the DVI out on the advanced mini dock, this might give crisper display on a high resolution display. I have had mixed experiences (quality-wise) using normal analog output and high resolution displays on t4x models.
