Lowest voltage across CPU- X61 tablet, 1.6Ghz

I guess undervolting isn't possible on the L7500 processor, which is a pity, but nevertheless I am surprised at how high the voltage is. I have the CPU clock set to dynamic switching, and according to the excellent Everest (Lavalys) monitoring program, the voltage NEVER goes under 1V, even at idle (3-5% CPU usage with Vista Ultimate). It usually hovers around 1.1 or 1.2V, even on dynamic switching.

I tried Notebook Hardware Control and the area where you set voltages was simply all blank.

Also, the CPU never seems to clock below 1.2 GHz. Neither of these figures is much below the max speed/voltage, which are 1.6Ghz and 1.2V, respectively. On my more powerful 2.16GHz T60p, the CPU will clock down to around 900MHz and the voltage to .9V (and undervolting is possible).

For a mobile "low power" processor this doesn't seem very impressive. Perhaps the wattage is extra low on these chips and the engineering for this requires a more constant voltage, or something?
