Max HD Capacity on Lenovo 3000 v100 laptop?

#1 Post by zolcat » Wed Oct 03, 2007 1:20 pm

Hello

I'm planning to upgrade the 100GB hard disk in the laptop. Is there a way to know what is the max storage capacity it can accept?

Also, can it accept drives which are SATA II (3.0GB)?

Thank you.

Sata II is backward compatible with Sata/150, just make sure it's 9.5mm high. As long as you have the latest version of firmware/BIOS, you shouldn't have any limitation issue on the size.

I use a Seagate external portable HD. More effcient, faster, longer lasting, cheaper. Can be transferred in seconds from one computer to another.
