thinkvantage password manager and fingerprint reader

#1 Post by as_sass » Thu Oct 04, 2007 1:05 pm

OK, maybe I am too stupid to figure this out, or maybe it is really not possible:

I would like to replace all of my online passwords with my fingerprint using the sensor on my X60T.

Whenever I come across a website that asks me for a password, the "Thinkvantage Password Manager" asks me whether I want to store that password. If I choose 'yes', it prompts me for my fingerprint. the info then seems to get stored in the password manager.

However, when I visit the site next, the login name and password fields are autofilled. If I disable the autofill function in password manager's preferences, then this does not happen. The problem is that when I swipe my finger, nothing happens.

So, my QUESTION is:

Is there a way to configure all of this so that all I need to do when coming across a password prompt on a website is to swipe my finger?

Thanks a lot for your help!
