I had this before. Look at my topic:

It is a very annoying problem :flame:

I tried 1000.00000 solutions, but none worked. So last week i picked up an other MiniPCI card and that worked flawlessly (Atheros brand).

Maybe that you are lucky, and you have the luck that you can fix it with other drivers, but in my case i couldn't fix it.

I also had to apply the No1802 patch because it gave me the warning about the network card, and wouldn't boot.

I had the same error on an X40 with IBM adapters. They didn't cause boot issues, but were never useable. I wasted quite a bit of time trying everything, too.

Another, different model, card is needed.

I yank it out, and replace with another card i took off from another t41, and it work great.

Tired of dealing with the original card i put in.. i bought it on craigslist and did the no-1802 and updated with numerous driver, old and new driver, but no dice. Gave up and swap card.

I think it a faulty card.. POS
