T42 displays 2 different screens at the same time?

#1 Post by w0qj » Thu Nov 04, 2004 10:43 pm

is there any way for my T42 computer by itself (without docking station or port replictor) to show on 2 different screens (ATI driver MOD, etc.):

a) T42's main LCD display show my main working screen, prefably at 1024x768 resolution, AND

b) my desktop monitor to show my secondary view of another program (eg: X1 Desktop Search, www.x1.com) for easy reference, at 1400x1050 screen resolution.

pls note that i don't want to buy a docking station or anything else to do this (yes, i realize you can DVI thru this method--but i don't want to buy).

Presentation Director will handle it fine with no need for added purchases.
