Unable to boot after system update - T60

#1 Post by pinesol » Sat Oct 06, 2007 7:28 pm

I did system update today for my T60 and upgraded about 11 items, among which was ATI Mobiliy-RADEON/FIREGL (PCI Express-2).

Now I am unable to boot. My T60 stops with a blue screen right after the WinXP Logo displaying an error message in which there is a statement saying a problem with "ait2davg.dll".

That is why I think the updated ATI graphic drivers are the cause of my problem. Is there any way I can undo this update? :?

Thank you for your help. That did the trick.

Once I uninstalled ATI driver via Control Panel and rebooted, I was asked to click a reset button. I tried to upgrade the driver again and was able to do so without any problem. The first upgrade apparenly did not go well.
