Need Advise on buying a T61

Hi,
Since I am very satisfied with my T60 I was considering buying a T61 for my wife, but came to a few questions:

1. How is the battery life in the T61s? I have read some bad reviews on battery life but doen't know the exact technical details about it(what caused it, is it fixed yet,etc.)?

2. How is the 14.1w WXGA+ display quality? Is LG-Phil. the manufacturer or samsung?

3. How is the T61 overall build quality compared to the T60? I have read some negative comments on the Top case material - Super-Elastic PolyCarconate (SEPC).

4. I have read some about the "Turbo Memory", but am concerned about how it realy affects system performace? How well do the OSes (Vista/Linux) take advantage of that?

Sorry if it seems that I have repeated some question asked before, but I searched a lot and didn't come to final conclusions.
