I am having a few problems since I updated the Thinkpad Power Manager using the system update tool. I always choose settings such that nothing happens when I close my laptop lid (other than the screen going blank) so that I can quickly close and open my screen if I need to move. I always manually hibernate if I will not be using it for a period of time. After updating I now find that my screen resoulution has been changed to a much lower setting (1024x768) when I reopen the lid. Sometimes the screen automatically jumps back to the default setting (1400x1050) (apart from I have to move my desktop items back to their usual screen positions, very irritating) other times it remains stuck and I have to manually change it back.
Any ideas as to why this is happening, or how it can be resolved? In addition the power manager does not seem to recognise my battery charging settings and always charges to full regardless of the current battery level.
Many thanks.
