Will T-42's (i have a 2379-dxu with Intel 2200BG) be retrofitable to the new wireless N standard?

im guessing: pull out mini-pci, replace it with a 802.11n card when they're out?

Yes, but I haven't seen any .11n standard M-PCI cards on any roadmaps for the foreseeable future.
