Is there any hope for my 760el?

Is there any hope for my 760el?

#1 Post by KwisatzHaderach » Mon Oct 08, 2007 1:29 am

I recently won a 760el on ebay. The seller neglected to tell me that the computer cannot send or receive data in any way (silly me, I took it for granted!). The laptop came with a cd rom drive installed, a loose floppy drive with the bezels, an external floppy drive, a 56k modem card, a xircom ethernet card and three harddrives (3 gig, 2 gig, and a 6gig). Two have win 95 and one has 98 installed. None seem to have drivers for any hardware! I don't have any software and no way to load software. I want to install [censored] small linux but have no way to do it. Is it possible to download dsl to a harddrive in an external usb 2.5" case? If so, will dsl have the drivers for my hardware?
