no worries ^_^ just wanted others to know and possibly benefit!
honestly, the list of available models is confusing and disparate -- and so far I've seen people pay less for better specs, and vice versa. you really have to dig and give exact item numbers (not just model #s, CTO is just generic customize-to-order) to them.
my little lady used it to pick up a multi-touch x61 tablet with 2gb ram and 1gb turbomem for 1200, just crazy -- and according to the phone rep hers also includes x6 tablet ultrabase w/dvdrw + 3 yr warranty... even if the last parts turn out untrue it is still pretty much a steal.
EDIT:
sorry did not mean to imply anything really negative with that "even if ... turn out untrue" part. basically the link (and much subsequent discussion) came from fatwallet here:
http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/message ... did=771606
the main specs of each laptop are not in question. what's unsure is if these x6 machines come with ultrabase and slim dvd (according to invoice and sales reps it appears they do) and also the warranty status (most of these state 1yr warranty but reps say that in many cases is actually 3)
also the list is not updated i.e. some item #s on it may be sold already :(
