FRU 27L3436 without ultrabay2000 frame, in T20?

Hi!

I found a working 27L3436 for a few bucks, but as i see it doesn't have an Ultrabay 2000 frame.
Question is: if i remove my dead DVD drive from it's frame, and put this CDROM in it, will it work in my T20?

The Lenovo web site seems to indicate the drive is compatible, and they should use the same connector. Make sure you have the latest BIOS revision and you should be fine.
