built in wifi maxing out cpu

I've been searching through the forums and have seen that a few others have had problems with the built in wifi on the Z series machines maxing out their cpu. I've been experiencing this same issue on my Z60t (2511-f4u w/2GB RAM). I've sent it back once thinking it was just overhearting and possibly frying the cpu, but now that I'm digging through these forums more and doing some in depth testing, I'm noticing that my cpu gets spiked only when using built in wifi. I tested with a 3com pc card nic and the machine worked fine.

Here is my real question: Who has been able to solve this problem?

UPDATE: I uninstalled/rebooted/reinstalled the card, then downloaded and installed driver version 5.3.0.35. I do NOT have the Access Connections installed. Seems to be MUCH better. I'll update if it changes...

more like software broblem. My Z60t don't have any
of your problem at all.. CPU stay idle most of the time.
with 7 cell batt, i can online arround 4-4.5hrs.

So check this out. Was connected to a wireless network using WPA and I was fine. Went back to my house where I was using WPA2 and my cpu was maxed again. I dropped the encryption to WPA and I'm now fine. I guess the driver for this wifi card really hates WPA2.

Anyone else want to see if it does the same to them?
