#1 Post by tony6264 » Sat Oct 13, 2007 10:54 am

I am looking for a cheap, but working, sort of barebones laptop...something over 400 mhz...dont need hardrive or power adapter...CDrom would be nice..and any working battery, even if only holds 10-15 mins....models prefered are...X20,x21,x22...T20 or at worst a 600E..let me know what you got and what you want for it.

YES..
i too have noticed this phenomona(sp?)..!

and i complained to the forum server owner last thursday or friday..
got no reply..

BUT, last night, i uncovered the macbook pro and was fiddliong with it to get the wifi working..
when i did, the default page came up (the forum!) and one think i neticed right away was how much FASTER the forum pages were loading..!
so when you mentioned this i went back to the macbook pro (running OSX) and the pages are STILL running faster than the desktop i usually run and WAS running a minute ago and which was loading the pages more slowly..!!

i have no clue as to why this is happening..

anyone have any thoughts..?
if so, start a new thread, so as not to hijack this thread.. :)

Yes, slower loading pages for a few days now. Very painful as it used to be snappy. True on at least five TPs at my place all with XP.
