Question about the free Lenova Vista Business Upgrade?

#1 Post by craigg » Sat Oct 13, 2007 1:43 pm

I received a couple of these upgrade disks; however I sold the Lenovo laptops that they were to upgrade prior to receipt. Since neither of these have ever been activated I was curious if I could use them on another Lenovo laptop or even one of my Dell computers? Would there be any problem with activation? Thanks in advance :)

Yes.

No. Please do keep in mind once activated, these oem versions will attach themselves to the motherboard and Microsoft will be the one you'll have to deal with in case of machine's hardware failure provided if you would like to reactivate it on the very same machine again.
