Resolved!!!! Wireless Card Problem in a T40

#1 Post by fkelly » Sat Oct 13, 2007 1:43 pm

Just picked up a Philips ABG, FRU 39T0071 adapter card from a member and installed but my T40 is not seeing it. Both connectors were put on solid and it appeared that all went well with the install. (maybe not?)

I downloaded the drivers off of the IBM site.

But when I FN+F5 it says there is no card installed.

Any suggestions. I am assuming this card would work with my T40, is that an accurate assumption.

Sometimes, you get in this loop and have to upgrade everything - BIOS, Driver, Access Connections, power management, OSD/Hotkey driver...... The card is the correct card for your T40.

Edit: Be careful you get the correct driver - there are two, and it's not obvious which is which!
