Sharing Hard Drives T23 & T30

#1 Post by newyorkpaulie » Tue Oct 16, 2007 4:36 am

Does anyone know if the slide-out hard drives for T23s work in T30s?
And other compatibilities too? I love the T23 (I have 2 now) and was thinking of taking advantage of an offer on a T30.

Physically the hard drives will fit, the hdd cover is different. You may experience driver problems if you plan on swapping "installed" drives. I haven't actually tried it.

If you have IBM's version of XP, you should be OK, with downloading some additional drivers. Retail version might bluescreen.

Linux will be fine. It will just re-detect hardware and no problems there.
