assembly diagrams or help taking apart

Hello, I am new to this forum

If I am incorrect in my post please let me know:

I have an R50p model that is being sent back IBM for the second time b/c it powers on but never hits the bios. The phone support said today that it most likely is the memory chip (the one that is hard to get to) as I only have the installed 512 and not the additional bay filled. If anyone here can supply diagrams or a link to schematics so that I can see how the unit is disassembled/ assymbled is would greatly help in checking the chip myself. Thanks
