Unable to install Hotkeys

#1 Post by clubmad83 » Fri Oct 19, 2007 1:29 pm

Hey guys

i've been trying to install the hotkeys program on my t43. i keep getting an error saying "this program is only for ibm/lenovo" irregardless if i try to install it using SU3 or by manually finding the file.

almost all the other ibm/lenovo programs are able to install without this strange notice message.

my bios & the embedded controller are up to date and my model no. and serial no. show up correctly in the thinkpad configuration model.

i've tried to search around the web + forum for solutions but i don't think anybody has experienced the same problem.

Any suggestions as to the problem?

A member faced somewhat same scenario:

Help installing hotkey features in Vista.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
