X61s + Sierra 1xEV-DO WWAN + Where to put in the SIM card?

I recently bought an used X61s. The seller didn´t mention the builtin Sierra 1xEV-DO WWAN and the antenna. Well as I now have those, I wanted to put in my mobilephones SIM card. But I can´t find the corresponding sim slot. Where can I find it?

The next thing is, how can I unlock the simlock?

The SIM slot is located next to the RAM, just unscrew the the little cover on the bottom of your machine.

Although it is my understanding that AT&T WWAN cards are the only ones that use SIM cards. And sorry I have no idea about unlocking anything.

1xEV-DO cards do not use SIMs. The are CDMA cards, not GSM...
