This unit was supposed to come to me "new open box" from my usual supplier, but someone slipped up - it came in the wrong box without the papers (does have the 9 cell battery with one cycle, spare trackpoints etc).
It is ABSOLUTELY AS NEW. No marks, no shine on the keys, NOTHING. But I must list it as "used" since I don't have the original box it came in (the box I got is from a D6U). Warranty expires 12/2009 (but again, this was an unused unit, showing no wear and tear of any kind at all).
Original XP install.
Great opportunity to own a high end machine that is essentially brand new at a reduced price.

It is not only hypermemory, but I added one gig for a total of 1.5 gigs RAM, and now it shows 512 video RAM!!
